Broaden Typing Coverage and Reduce Ambiguities

One Lambda’s portfolio of Micro SSP™ typing trays provide complete HLA Class I and Class II DNA typing.

Using Generic Trays, technologists can either assign HLA Class I or Class II alleles individually or simultaneously. If more detailed typing is needed, the High Resolution Allele Specific Trays will help eliminate redundancies.

96 Well Transfer Device

Simplify the reagent transfer process using the 96-Well Transfer device to reduce multiple transfer actions to one step. The device uses 96 pipettes to transfer reagents quickly and simultaneously across the tray, ensuring consistency through out the array. Designed for use with 96-well plates or the Micro SSP™ Gel System, the tool is easy to load, aspirate, and wash and is fabricated from durable, non-corrosive materials. Although this transfer device is suited for numerous applications when transferring from a 96-well plate, it is standardized for the One Lambda Micro SSP 96- and 384-well DNA Typing Trays.

AmbiStrips

With Micro SSP™ AmbiStrips™ you can optimize HLA typing assignment by resolving ambiguities and Null Alleles commonly found in allelic typing strings, or determine between heterozygous variants of B27 typings. The 8-well strip format provides users an efficient platform to target single allele specificities on an as need basis using a fast and simple PCR method.

Features & Benefits

  • Prealiquoted with one allelic specificty in each 8-well strip
  • Ready to use optimized PCR buffer
  • Resolves common B-locus ambiguities including B27 variants
  • Resolved common Class I and Class II Null Alleles

Bulk Primer Sets

Bulk primer sets use SSP technology to type for Minor Histocompatibility Antigens (mHag) or B27 alleles.

SSP mHag Primer Set

This primer set is used for research of Acute Graft Versus Host Disease. Acute Graft Versus Host Disease (GvHD) occurs regularly following Bone Marrow transplantation and its occurrence has been linked to the mismatching of Minor Histocompatibility Antigens (mHAG), namely the two alleles of the HA-1 Locus. One Lambda’s mHAG primers can distinguish between the two HA-1 alleles and can be used to research the relationship between HA-1 matching and GvHD.

SSP B27 Primer Sets

These primer sets allow customers to configure their own typing tests and to use only the primers they need to type for B27 alleles.

Features & Benefits

  • Uses the same familiar technology as One Lambda’s Micro SSP products.
  • mHag primers – may be useful for research in the role of the minor histocompatibility complex.
  • B27 primers – can be configured to use only the primers needed.

Micro SSP™ Allele Specific Trays

Our Micro SSP Allele Specific HLA Class I and Class II Trays are designed for fast and accurate HLA Class I and Class II sub-typing. These trays can be used alone or in combination with One Lambda’s Micro SSP Generic and High Resolution HLA Typing Trays.

Features & Benefits

  • Pre-aliquoted and dispensed primers in a 96-well format save time and are easy to use
  • Optimized reagents are ready to use
  • Internal control included in each well
  • Comprehensive allele coverage
  • Easy gel interpretation
  • Fast results in less than two hours

Micro SSP™ Ancillary Products

One Lambda has a variety of ancillary products and reagents to optimize Micro SSP DNA Typing.

BULK PRIMER SETS

The B27 Liquid Bulk Primer Sets use SSP technology to type for SSP alleles. The MHag liquid bulk primers allow users to prepare SSP tests to type for Minor Histocompatibility Primers.

DNA SIZE MARKERS

The DNA Size Markers are used for sizing PCR and restriction fragments less than 2564 bp in size. The Size Markers consist of five DNA fragments with sizes of 50, 150, 400, 750, and 2564 bp. Double-stranded DNA fragments of known molecular weights are used as standards in agarose gel electrophoresis.

SSP D-MIX

SSP D-Mix is available in several volumes. It may be ordered separately if additional volumes are required for use with Micro SSP™ and SSP products.

SSP WIPE TEST

The SSP Class I and Class II Wipe Tests are used to test for PCR amplicon contamination. The Wipe Test primer set amplifies the internal control amplicon generated in the typing trays to determine the contamination.

Micro SSP™ Generic Trays

One Lambda’s Generic trays are available to assign either HLA Class I or Class II alleles, or Class I and Class II alleles simultaneously. These basic molecular trays use a 96-well format (unless otherwise stated) with pre-aliquoted and dispensed primers and an internal control in each well.

Features & Benefits

  • Pre-aliquoted and dispensed primers in a 96-well format save time and are easy to use
  • Optimized reagents are ready to use
  • Internal control included in each well
  • Comprehensive allele coverage
  • Easy gel interpretation
  • Fast results in less than two hours

Micro SSP™ High Resolution Trays

The Micro SSP High Resolution Trays offer more detailed subtyping information for Class II alleles (DPA1/DPB1, DQA1 and DRB1,3, 4, 5). They allow for focused testing eliminating ambiguities, and confirm questionable results.

Features & Benefits

  • Pre-aliquoted and dispensed primers save time and are easy to use
  • Specific—provides detailed allelic typing
  • Economical—allows for focused testing, eliminating test redundancy
  • Allows confirmation of questionable or ambiguous typings
  • Fast results in less than two hours
